How We Can End Generational Poverty

One way we can end generational poverty in Nigeria is if people are able to work without the interruption of bribes, favouritism, and threats of community-wide safety. 

When families experience poverty for at least two generations, it can affect them physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, etc. If the circle is not broken, poverty will continue and children who come from such families may find it hard to leave the circle.

However, when businesses grow, more jobs are created, and so business leaders must prioritize the health and well-being of their workers, pay them a long-term sustainable wage and create a healthy and empowering work environment.
