The 2024 Team
Last year we invited our graduates to apply to join our team as Team Leads. Team Leads are exemplary graduates who have displayed leadership, integrity, understanding and humility throughout their time as Mentees. (And, while there were so many incredible applicants to choose from we could only take four.) Team Leads support the incoming Mentees throughout their entire program: homework, understanding of new concepts, accountability, encouragement, and implementing business principles into their business.
Our 2024 Team Leads are no different, leading our NEW Mentees on the equipping and empowering journey of entrepreneurship!

Help us welcome Jehosephat (Josh), Faith and Treasure as a Team Lead, and Deborah returning for her second year as a Team Lead!
Josh is a Fashion Designer bringing new and courageous ideas into men’s fashion. Faith sells crawfish and beans in the market, continually implementing the skills she has learned during her time in the program. Deborah is not only a fashion designer of women’s attire but she also runs an incredible apprenticeship program for women who desire to learn to sew and design. Last but not least is Treasure, a powerhouse skincare business leader, making incredible lotions, soaps and oils for all types of skin!
Our NEW Team Leads join our growing TLT staff! Shemiye Blessing, our Program Manager, has brought on two talented leaders to support the program this year. David is the Program Engagement Coordinator, leading the mentees in accountability, engaging the graduates in continues resources and opportunities for growth, and venturing out onto visits with graduates, mentees and applicants. We also have the privilege of David and Blessing joining our Founders, William and Shiloh Karshima, as Instructors for the core program curriculum. Finally, we have Patricia. Patricia is not only a graduate of The Leader Team program, she has been a loyal KASHCO staff (running HR) for the past 3+ years. She was one of our original hires and we have been blessed to have her grow in leadership ever since. Patricia serves The Leader Team as the Program Assistant making sure all mentee tracking in accurate, coordinating mentee activities during class, assisting in the application and intake process and so much more!
As you can see, 2024 is off to a great start! We can’t wait to see how our Mentees grow and develop with this inspiring, committed, and talented team!
