How Samuel is Impacting His Community!

Meet 62 year old Samuel, a father of 6 who also has 3 grandchildren. Samuel, or Uncle Samuel as we like to call him is the oldest mentee we have had in the program. He comes with a lot of passion for his work, a zeal to learn and a great heart of humility and generosity which shows in the way he treats his team members in the program.

Samuel is an entrepreneur who believes strongly that age is not a barrier towards greatness and impact. As a non-profit, we are excited that we get to meet such an amazing person and we are happy to mentor his business.

Samuel’s work has empowered many young people and has created jobs for some. Starting as a shoeshiner, Samuel knew he needed to do more to be able to provide for his family. Making shoes not only afforded him the ability to increase his income, but also change the lives of people. He has big dreams and we are happy to watch those dreams become a reality.
