One Month In….

Classes have begun and mentees are learning skills and principles that will help them start and grow their businesses. Within the next couple of months, these mentees would be putting into practice all they are being taught.

At the end of the seven month program, mentees will have the opportunity to present their business growth strategic plan to be eligible for seed funding.

We have a great team of mentees. Our business start-ups are a diverse range of expertise: some are tailors, others providing supplies like gas, beans and fish, and still others innovating new energy resource options. We are excited for all the good they will go on to do!

When is the application open for the next season of mentorship?

This first program started in April with the orientation which was on the 22nd and our first class on the 28th of April. We have our classes twice a week - the second and fourth Thursdays of every month.

Season 2022 will end in November. Applications for 2023 will open just before, in October.

Who is eligible for apply?

Both small scale business owners and aspiring business owners can apply. (Applicants must display financial need or an ability in their business to support those with financial need.) See application link for more eligibility and application requirements.
