The Cycle of Poverty.

Providing food, water, shelter and other humanitarian aid is a much needed support for the world’s most desperate and immediate needs. However, when humanitarian aid becomes a daily requirement for a population just to survive, we must take a step back and assess what is triggering those needs.

In order to dismantle the cycle of poverty, we must ask, “What are the compounding and systemic issues that begins that cycle of suffering for families and children?”

As long as poverty exists for one, it exists for all.

The solution to generational poverty in Nigeria is directly linked to empowering leaders of integrity and creating long-term sustainable jobs.

The Leader Team trainings focus on this as the solution.

If business leaders, community leaders and politicians are empowered with principles of integrity and businesses leaders were equipped with the training and resources needed for sustainable job creation we would finally start making a dent in the cycle of poverty.

When people can work without the interruption of bribes, favortism, patronage or threats of community-wide safety businesses can grow. When businesses can grow jobs are created. When business leaders prioritize the health and well-being of their workers, paying a long-term sustainable wage and creating a healthy and empowering work environment, families can put food on the table, children can go to school and generations can be changed.

The Leader Team focuses on empowering, equipping aspiring and veteran leaders in Nigeria in how their businesses, organisations and political parties can increase social impact in order to decrease the poverty cycle in Nigeria as a whole.

Our mission is to build communities by empowering leaders and creating jobs. Would you join us?
